Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth graders are hard workers who strive to succeed academically. In the classroom, their brains are busy listening, collaborating, and creating. They also enjoy being active and playing games with friends on the playground.

PE equipment will help my students stay physically active and learn social skills as they participate in games and team sports.

Hula hoops will be used in obstacle courses and as action pathways in relay races. Baseball bases help students learn the rules of team sports. The volleyball net will help introduce students to an unfamiliar game. And, the electric air pump will ensure that our game plans will not be hindered by a deflated ball. Students will see school as a place to learn to take care of the bodies as well as their brains.
