Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at my school are eager Black (80%) and Latinx (20%) scholars. Our school has a high population of foster kids, single-parent households and students living with extended family members. Our school is a Title I school in which eighty percent of our students qualify for free school breakfast, lunch and supper. Financial strains have begun to inhibit the quality of education that I can offer my students. I am struggling to buy all the materials that would help me to provide the quality of education that my students deserve. I am hoping this project will make a tremendous impact on the tools that I can use to further my students' education.

My Project

Help me fund my classroom and provide students with equitable physical education. My district as well as my school does not provide any physical education equipment, much less the necessary equipment for my scholars. These athletes deserve the best. Thus, the collapsible soccer goal set of 2 will make it easy for me to provide space for my students to play. We don't have green space or a soccer field at my school.

However, this set will make it easy to set up a soccer game on the black top.

In addition, the champion sports rhino skin basic dodgeball set with mesh storage bag will be used to play dodgeball safely. These special types of balls will prevent serious injury and are much better than traditional red "jelly" balls that cause harm.
