Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from low socio-economic families. Most are second language learners and only get the chance to speak English at school. Our school has 100% breakfast, and lunch. Many students don’t know when their next meal will come. Our students receive free uniforms, and free backpacks. Many of our families live in multi-family households. My students need extra supplies so they can have a safe, warm and welcoming environment when they come to school. Please help support our class!

My Project

Please help us get a equipment cart and equipment to go with it! We only have bikes and the playground at our school right now. With only five bikes between two classes, it is very hard for my students to get the physical activity they need throughout the day. I am asking for some bouncy balls so students can practice bouncing it to one another. I am asking for comet balls so students can practice throwing and playing catch with one another. Having these activities will help students learn to work together and practice their hand eye coordination. We have physical activity everyday and these materials would be so loved and used on a daily basis.
