We are a class of seven students with moderate to severe cross categorical disabilities.
We love moving our bodies, sensory play and documenting all the fun activities at school. Some of us have autism, some of us have speech impairment and some of us have orthopedic impairment.
My Project
Through the materials provided, my students can learn to take turns to use their visual spacial judgment to play bean bag tossing games and improve their coordination on the scooters. I will also use the materials such as sequence and liquid starch to make slime and other creative sensory art activities, as well as using the hard drive to store and edit our pictures and videos of our classroom fun as memory for the students families.
This donation will enable me to add more student centers, and physical, sensory, science and art activities to enrich their learning and gain hands-on experience with different materials and activities.
