This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Ask a first grader what their favorite part of school is and they will all say the same thing--recess and PE!
I teach 21 first grade students in the California Bay Area.
My students attend a Title I school and they are always ready for fun and learning. My students try their very best and they parents only want the best for their children. My students get excited about recess and PE every single day.
My Project
My students love recess and PE but we don't have very much equipment for them to use. I am requesting footballs, soccer balls, kick balls, and hula hoops. My students will be able to use these materials to have fun and be more active during recess and PE. They will increase their athleticism and their health as they play.
These materials will help my students improve their health and their gross motor skills.
They will be able to bounce, kick, and throw the balls and have fun while increasing their athletic skills and coordination. Thank you so much for taking an interest in my students!
