My Project

Our town recently installed 2 Little Free Art Galleries! These work just like the Little Free Libraries popping up all over the country. The concept is that people can leave a piece of art and take a piece of art.

I would love for my students to participate in this community exchange of art!

The box is not large, so students will work on small art pieces to leave for others to enjoy and take home. My hope is that we can take a walking field trip to these boxes and students can place their art pieces themselves. Then, the children can return with their families to show their art and pick up another piece of art.

I believe this is a wonderful way to engage the community in the sharing of creativity, as well as connecting us to each other a little more!
