This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Love 'em and Lead 'em book will empower our teachers and staff to connect with our immigrant, English learners, and overall student population at our school. We will use this book in our weekly Professional Developments; each teacher will take a different section each week, to present the message that resonnates with them and how it speaks to the culture of our school. The topics in this book will be central to opening dialogue through the school year and strengthen the impact that we have as educators in doing the most impactful work, inspiring our students to develop a love for learning and be global citizens that make a meaningful impact with their education!
