This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are special needs. They are super special because they truly want to learn. They love all things hands on. Math is especially one if their favorites. They are smart, wonderful, loving, sweet children that just want to be treated like the rest of the students in the school.

My Project

The students in my class are special needs. They enjoy getting various snacks and prizes from the class store. They are able to redeem their points throughout the week using our PBIS system. They look forward each week getting to go to the store. However, we are running low on snacks for them to purchase. Students earn points by showing RISE behaviors (respect, integrity, safety, and Empathy). They are able to earn multiple points daily and we only focus on the positive behaviors not the negative. My product list includes a variety of items that the children can choose from.
