My Project
As a Reading Specialist in a Title I Primary School, part of my job is to get students excited to read! While the goal is for students to eventually become intrinsically motivated to read, it's nice to offer some extrinsic motivation for those reluctant readers.
As part of our school-wide PBIS initiative to support student behavior, I'd love to restock my treasure box with a variety of rewards students can earn for meeting various reading goals.
From snacks, candy, playdoh, pop-it bracelets, and more, students are sure to find something that they love as a token of appreciation for their hard work!
