Our school is a Title 1, PBIS school. Teachers and staff work hard to teach expectations to help set our students up for success. Students earn tickets for following our school-wide PBIS expectations, and then each week a student is chosen from each classroom to be recognized. Students are recognized for exemplary behavior on the morning school news and rewarded with a trip to the PBIS school store.
Our students need to desire and anticipate a trip to the school store.
However, because this program is funded by the school/ teachers, there has not always been money to provide a variety of choices that the kids want. I'm hoping to revitalize the store and reignite the excitement for each student who is chosen so that they are adequately rewarded and proud of their accomplishment and good choices.
