This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A few months ago I created a DonorsChoose project to add rewards to our PBIS class store. My students have been working hard to accumulate points to exchange for these items. Unfortunately, our items are running low on stock and there is only so much I can provide out of my pocket and that is why I am creating a part 2 to my first DonorsChoose project. I have asked my students for input and they would like to have things they can eat.
My high schoolers would love to add snacks and drinks to their class store.
I am overjoyed with excitement at how my students’ engagement, accountability, and mindset had positively changed since we started this reward system. I want to do my best to keep their store stocked up in order to keep encouraging them to be the best they can be.
