Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Clifton High School has over 3,000 students with 51 different languages spoken at home. The 9th grade class, known as the Mustang Academy, has already been incorporating the NJ PBSIS model for many years. The 2021-2022 school year has been our first year implementing NJ PBSIS schoolwide. We are looking for community support to help us build our rewards system and purchase incentives that our high school students will enjoy and find useful.
These gift cards will be used as a reward for students who are successful academically and behaviorally.
Teachers reward students based on each student's individual needs. Once a student has earned enough digital Mustang Points, they can trade those points in for prizes such as these gift cards.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
