My Project
Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Ready. Our (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program uses these school-wide expectations as a common language. Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports is an evidence-based, three-tiered framework for improving school-wide behavior and culture. It helps improve all students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes and creates a culture where all students succeed. Our rewards program allows our school to continuously recognize students for following behavior expectations. Students who meet these expectations are given recognition points that they can use to purchase tangibles, experiences, and more. This project seeks to provide crafty experience reward options for our students to use their PBIS points to craft with the counselor. The kids love concentrating on diamond art and putting puzzle pieces together. I added a few new options I thought they would love to work on.
