This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The addition of PBIS prizes will allow students to work towards goals in our classroom. According to research, PBIS leads to better student behavior. PBIS can lead to more effective teaching as behavior issues may be minimized.

The addition of these prizes will allow students to work towards tangible goals.

Students will be able to earn points throughout the week and purchase the item that they have earned based on behavior and good choices. This will drastically change the current environment in my classroom and will give the students and opportunity to set and meet goals.
