This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We use the PBIS Initiative to help our little Eagles SOAR and get acclimated to school-wide behavior expectations. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports is what PBIS stands for. Students earn SOAR points for exhibiting good behaviors and going above and beyond. I see firsthand daily what the PBIS initiative brings to our school! The expectations are clear and are being followed. More learning takes place! I am creating a classroom store to add an award system in between our school-wide big events! Your donation will go towards our little Eagles classroom store! The store will also help students read and count. We will use our classroom bucks to purchase items from our store! Students will increase their vocabulary by reading the different labels that will be labeled for the different items in our store!
