My Project
Our Transition from School to Work students are students who need additional learning supports. We help them learn career skills that they can use both now and after high school. Each day they come to class they clock in and then begin in their work. They learn resume building, about their strengths and weaknesses, go on off campus learning activities to learn job skills, and secondary and career exploration activities. When they leave class they clock out and earn a "paycheck" each two weeks. Currently I am funding this by purchasing the snacks but I could absolutely use the help. The students work so hard and really look forward to their payday cart items, where they choose two each week.
