This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will use games like Monopoly and Prime Climb to practice their math, strategy and team work skills with others in our small math intervention class. Our class will also be implementing a classroom economy for students to be able to practice budgeting, accounting, managing money and making investments using real life numbers.

With these materials, students in math intervention will benefit from highly engaging, real world connections as well as having a balanced routine that targets their areas of need.

The book requested will provide many fresh ideas for math games so that students are continually feeling challenged and have an opportunity to teach each other.
