This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our children are a good mix of energetic, mild mannered, quirky, creative, and talented personalities! The thing that makes them special is that they are all goal oriented and quite willing to work hard for the amazing incentives we try to offer them. They are motivated to learn about good character traits and behaviors while learning and growing as good citizens in their school community. Because we are a PBIS school, we try to teach the children about positive behaviors, responses, and interactions and incentivize them to constantly practice what we've tried to instill in them during the day. Throughout the year, the children work hard to develop good character in order to properly receive instruction in the classroom, navigate appropriate interactions across the entire school, and build healthy relationships among peers so they can earn PAW points they then save and use as currency to shop each quarter. Pantherzon is a school store we work hard to fill with incentives the children can purchase as rewards for their positive behavior. The only currency accepted in this store is the PAW points the children earn. Every item in this project would go to stocking the store, so we need the party favors, bracelets, Matchbox cars, fidget toys, gel pens, pencils, Mochi squishy toys, Uno cards, Lego sets, and Play-Doh to stock the store with a good selection for the entire school year.
