I have been teaching for twenty-one years in the same urban school. Our school is a Title I school, meaning all students eat lunch and breakfast for free. I teach special needs students at many grade levels. My students are hard-working, loving kids, and they try their best every day.
My students come to school every day ready to learn.
They try their best in all areas of the school setting, be it the classroom, lunch, art, gym, music or the library. Each child is special to me, and I want to provide everything they need to enhance their learning while they are at school.
Our students need more prizes for our school-wide "Paw Store." They earn "Paw Bucks" for positive behavior to spend at the store. They love anything with emojis on them, as well as slap bracelets and light-up rings.
Having many items for the students to choose from will increase their motivation to earn as many "Paw Bucks" as they can!
We want all students to learn in school, and having positive behavior is an important part of every student's day. The store has really increased positive behaviors in most of our 700 students in our building, and having more items for the store will motivate them to keep earning those "Paw Bucks!"
