My Project

I would love to win this bookshelf. I have been looking at it for a few years; however, it is way out of range for my classroom funds. If I am lucky enough to win this, I plan to organize mock patient charts for my students.

I teach nursing education at my local high school.

I take my student to the local nursing home and hospital. I currently have a lab with hospital beds and mannequins that they practice on. If I had this, I would organize mock charts, as that is something they are not allowed to access in the healthcare facilities due to HIPAA regulations.

Once they complete my class and clinical rotation, they can sit for the CNA exam. They are ready for the workforce. Being able to simulate the chart system would better prepare them to care for their future patients they will have in the workforce.
