My Project
This professional development project is designed to enhance both my own effectiveness and the understanding of special education practices among my colleagues. By securing IEP caseload binders and Praxis study materials, I aim to build a more organized, efficient approach to managing my responsibilities as a special educator.
The IEP binders will support structured documentation and communication for each student on my caseload, ensuring compliance and clarity in the IEP process.
These tools will also serve as models to help general education staff better understand the needs, goals, and accommodations outlined in each plan—bridging gaps between special and general education.
In addition, the Praxis study resources will support continued learning and mastery of content knowledge critical for certification and effective teaching. My goal is not only to strengthen my own skills but to share best practices and insights with my team, fostering a collaborative and informed approach to supporting all learners.
By investing in these professional tools, this project will help build a stronger foundation for student success and promote a more inclusive and informed school environment.
