This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading has always been a pathway to creativity, imagination, and adventure within the classroom. When students reach fourth grade they are able to reach a level of reading which allows books to take them to magical places.
Every morning my fourth grade students conduct their Spiral review of "Morning Workshop", within their morning workshop they are transferred to a land of reading.
Within our Morning Workshop students are then lead to have discussions about our books. Students are able to discover that love for reading that will hopefully last with them for a lifetime.
Through Donors Choose I am asking for more books for our morning adventures. This way we are able to have the chance of more reading, more creativity, and more conversations about the stories we uncover. Thank you for your donations and helping grow adventures in our classroom.
