Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help give my students access to hands-on virtual reality scenarios. The Meta Quest 2 handsets will equip my students with skills and hands-on experiences that will enable them to be creators of tomorrow.

Our main goal is to break down barriers for education and enhance access to learning experiences through virtual reality.

The Meta Quest handsets will be used to immerse the future engineers in my class in a virtual environment in the different fields of engineering. Allowing them to get hands-on experience in such fields as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, chemical and aerospace engineering. These devices will help to enhance our students' vocational training.
