I started a kindness club this school year with our students. We are meet twice a month, learning different themes of kindness such as: compassion, love, hope, empathy, generosity and gratitude. Throughout this process, each month, we have tried to pass out tokens of kindness to their peers.
We have also found that the students really enjoy and look forward to random acts of kindness in the morning along with a friendly greeting.
They come up to staff with a smile on their face and hug. These past seven months have been amazing watching our students learn about kindness and spreading it in different ways.
I am looking for items so we can continue to build kindness in our building with our students and staff. The staff as a whole have also began to engage more with the club and offering ways to assist. Thank you for your consideration in donating to spread the kindness.
