This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an amazing, vibrant collection of enthusiastic artists in a Title I inner-city, coastal Connecticut community where 100% of our students receive free lunch and there never seems to be an end to other urgent needs.

We welcome many immigrants and transient families to our community and engage students as they navigate every kind of emotional and social challenge that you can imagine.

Economic need is high, but creative passion is even higher! Please help our creative and talented students touch the wonderful materials they need to thrive and explore.

My Project

We love smelly markers. They make our life worth living and art so much more fun. Smelling different scents is stimulating and increases our interest in working. They smell mostly of food which helps make us feel safe and more cozy in an otherwise all business school environment. We use a LOT of markers and we are running low.

Our budget has been spent this year so we are sending out this life line request for super awesome smelly replacements.

Sent us this grocery store of markers please! Scented markers are fun and we love fun in our elementary magical art room. Thank you!
