My Project

In our Computer Science class, we love finding creative ways to combine coding with movement, strategy, and fun. That’s why I’m requesting two Ozobot challenge coding mats — Basketball and Soccer editions — to help students apply their coding skills through interactive, game-based learning. Each mat is designed to spark problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.

These coding mats will transform our 6th grade classroom into a dynamic arena where students can collaborate and code while tackling real-world sports challenges.

With the Basketball Challenge Mat, students will guide Ozobot Evo robots through drills like passing, shooting, and dodging defenders. On the Soccer Mat, they’ll code Evo to dribble, pass, and score goals. The kits include everything we need: durable mats, challenge cards, lessons, and accessories that bring Evo to life. These sports-themed activities will engage students who love athletics and help all learners see how coding connects to their interests and the world around them.
