My Project

Creating a fun learning environment keeps kids excited about coming to school and their education. Throughout the year I like to do room transformations to keep kids interested and excited about learning. During these days, we practice skills for reading, math, and writing. On STEAM days we also incorporate science and art.

Kids don't always remember what they were taught, but they do remember how we make them feel.

I believe doing these kinds of activities makes kids feel loved, seen, and cared for. The camping decorations will be put to good use for Camp Read-A-Lot and Camp STEAM. The room is converted complete with real tents put up in the class. On the last day of school, we celebrate our last day together with Last Day Beach Day. The beach decorations will go towards helping me transform the room that way. The sunglasses will be given out as presents.

Finally, I want to start a Glow up party. In order to achieve that we will need some blacklights and decorations that will glow!
