Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is home to approximately 850 lovely little learners. Among them, we are proud to be the home of the Osceola County Deaf and Hard of Hearing elementary program. Additionally, we are a Title I School with a significant population of FIT (Families in Transition Students). By funding this project, these materials will allow us to provide our very deserving students with 4 AVID room transformation boxes.

Learning becomes more impactful when students are engaged.

These AVID room transformation boxes will allow us to provide all of our students with the opportunity to explore their curriculum standards with a little touch of magic.

Funding would provide our students with 4 room transformation boxes - 2 glow party, 1 pirate, and 1 candy land. The look on their faces when they show up to class to find that they are boarding a pirate ship to learn math that day is absolutely priceless! Whether the lesson is adding or dividing (or any subject!), the engagement factor is automatically multiplied!
