My Project
Using the parachute in gym class is a fun way to practice lots of cool activities and provides tons of teachable moments related to teamwork and cooperation. Most people remember this as their first gym class memory!
The parachute will develop and improve my student's locomotor and non-locomotor skills, as they help to develop spatial awareness, balance, coordination of the larger limbs, visual-spatial awareness, cardiovascular fitness!
Unfortunately, my parachute is old, ripping, and not safe for my younger students. It has loose strings and fabric that can cause physical harm. There is also no money in our school budget to replace or repair it. This is where we need your help! Help us purchase a new parachute!
