My Project
My students love to play and move creatively to music! We borrowed a parachute this week for music class and they had a blast! All of them were engaged and enjoying the lesson. It all started with me asking the students what they wanted to do for fun on their reward day. A 2nd grader suggested playing with a parachute and I could not let that great idea go!
Seeing their excitement and eagerness to participate with parachute games was very rewarding. They were very collaborative and cooperative and we hope to have more fun with our own classroom parachute. I want to plan an entire parachute unit focusing on the element of form in music.
