My Project
I have chosen these three items for this project based on student needs. First, students do not have access to paper towels while in the gym. This is important as many students constantly have to ask to leave the gym just to get paper towels from the nurse. This will help reduce the amount of students sent out into the hallway. Second item is a new set of 20lb dumbbells. These will be the perfect amount of weight for students looking to go up to the next size from the 15lb we already have.
The height/weight scale is essential for the physical education program as each year we are required to take students' height and weight and record the data online for the FitnessGram.
I believe having a new scale will also help students monitor their progress throughout the school year as many students do not have access to one.
There are many things that make my students special. Students at my school are like a canvas and the teachers are the artists that make them learn. Students enjoy coming to class to participate in all the many activities I plan for them. It's because of donor's choose that I am able to provide my students with many opportunities to be successful while in physical education.
