I currently teach physical education in a cafeteria. Recently, a ball hit one of the sprinkler pipes causing the gym to flood. Because of this, we are no longer permitted to use balls, as it is a safety hazard. We are extremely limited in what we can teach. Right now we have 1 ping pong table, 5 badminton rackets, a few hula hoops, and jump ropes. All classes are 45+ students. If we had more equipment, this would make for a more suitable learning environment for giving students options in my class. Right now students are constantly waiting around to play, and are sitting on their phones because there is such limited equipment.
