This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are diverse, enthusiastic, and excited to start the new school year! Our school is a Title 1 school with over 85% of students coming from low-income families. I teach an incredibly diverse student body, and they love learning new things in our class! Students at my school are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. We want to educate our students in a creative learning environment by providing them with the basic needs that are needed in our ELA class to learn the English essentials through interactive learning.
My Project
Our mixed special needs and general education students love receiving helpful and colorful handouts and graphic organizers!
Students sometimes have issues with keeping themselves organized, and having a colored sheet that they are looking for helps them to be more ready for the work at hand.
Along with our in-class printing center, students will also be able to print out engaging graphics and details to include in their projects.
Having access to the material needed for the basic foundation of their projects and assignments is critical. The colored paper will be used to make copies of important information for students with a pop of color and creativity.
