My Project
My bright students are always eager to learn. I pride myself on designing engaging and thoughtful activities to help my students grasp the content and hone their skills as thinkers, readers, and writers.
There is one material that I rely on most to design the activities that get my students working and thinking: paper.
I use printer paper in all kinds of ways in the classroom: to create organizers and note-catchers for students to capture their ideas, to print copies of assignment directions, and in countless other ways. Bright colorful paper helps students keep different assignments organized and easily accessible in their folders. Additionally, I use chart paper almost daily in many different ways: from charting students' ideas to creating anchor charts for the classroom. Post-its help students track their ideas while reading, and my students always need loose-leaf for notetaking.
