My Project
Our students love to be able to access construction paper quickly and easily throughout our day. The paper storage center will allow us to keep a variety of different colored construction paper that they can access themselves. Our students enjoy having different sensory lighting throughout the classroom. Having the regular classroom fluorescent lights on can be bothersome to some of our students, so we like to have different kinds of lighting around the classroom!
Our students work throughout the day to be independent; having a storage center for paper that they can access will help them increase their independence (they won't have to have an adult get it for them) and many students have sensory needs that require us to have different types of lighting in our classroom.
In order to be able to access paper when they want it, they need a storage center where they have the materials at their level, which we currently do not have available to them! Having the warm white star twinkle lights will allow us to have warmer lights in place of the traditional fluorescent lighting, which can help with those that have sensory needs.
