This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work very hard and I'm so proud of their successes. I am lucky to have such great students who are focused and eager to learn. Every Thursday at the end of the day, we have popcorn and we do an activity. This gives them something to look forward to. The origami paper and quilling supplies will give them activities to do that are new to them and will get them excited about working hard throughout the week

Origami and quilling require students to develop fine motor skills, to demonstrate the ability to create patterns, and to follow directions.

These supplies will help my students by giving them a fun activity as a reward for their hard work in academics as well as helping them develop their fine motor skills.
