This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are energetic, creative, and eager to learn.
They come from a variety of backgrounds, and many face economic hardships yet they show up ready to explore new ideas and express themselves in meaningful ways.
This project may seem simple, but it meets a critical need: copy paper and card stock. I’m requesting 10 reams of standard copy paper and 1 ream of white card stock to support daily learning activities, classwork, and creative projects.
Copy paper is used for everything—from math worksheets to writing assignments to printed reading passages. The card stock allows us to make durable learning tools like flashcards, student-created books, games, and anchor charts. These materials are used every single day and make a big difference in how students interact with their learning.
Many schools, especially those in low-income areas, struggle to keep basic supplies stocked. By providing paper, you’re giving my students access to the tools they need to learn effectively, stay organized, and feel proud of their work.
