My kindergarten students are excited that they have become more fluent readers. They feel challenged and push themselves to read more and more. I would like to be able to give them more printed materials that they can call their own.
This can be done by printing decodable readers for each of them on their independent reading levels.
The drawback is that they must be printed in order for me to give them the books. Due to all of the printing that we do, our ability to print books has become somewhat limited due to the lack of paper. Having the much needed paper would be very beneficial to my students as I would be able to print their books.
