This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are third graders from the Bronx, N.Y. My students are bright-eyed and eager to learn. We are a heterogeneous classroom with almost half being special needs children.
I try to make each day a fun learning experience for each child.
Each child learns differently and at different paces. To be able to make the classroom an inviting, comfortable place to learn is my goal. I want my students to want to come to school and want to learn. It is important to leave some type of impression on your students to set the stepping stones for a positive, productive future.
My Project
I am requesting a box of copy paper for me to use during the school year. I am writing this so that I am prepared for the upcoming school year. The students will benefit from having their own copy paper in the classroom.
Paper for printing our work will be beneficial.
Often, we work on projects and need to print out our work so that we can display it and present it. In the coming year, we will be working on writing our personal narratives and we will need copy paper to print out our assignments.
