Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is filled with students who have a variety of different needs. Some students have disabilities, some are learning English, some have emotional needs. Some of my students simply need to be challenged. Despite their challenges, they all come to school very eager to learn and bring a lot to the table.

My students don't necessarily have extra materials or resources at home, so they are very appreciative of the ones we have inside the classroom.

This school is in a low-income area, filled with children with many different needs, but seeing them have the opportunity to have these amazing materials from Donors Choose is truly a blessing! These materials will really help my students explore. Thank you in advance for adding to the success of our classroom!

My Project

Paper.. such an overlooked necessity but so essential to the classroom. With a limited paper supply, it is often hard to have everything I want for the students printed out. With students being on different levels, station activities, individualized goals; we are constantly using paper to print materials on to meet the needs of everyone in the classroom.

Having a year supply of paper would truly make a difference in my classroom.

We are never given enough paper. I would love to be able to continue creating more pages for the goal binders that my students use on a daily basis.

Worksheets would be printed such as reading skills, phonics, writing, social studies work and more. We could never have too much paper! Since many of my students are on various levels, this paper will also be used to create individualized work.

Some of my students have disabilities, some are English Language Learners and others may benefit from the extra support. Thank you in advance for helping my classroom succeed.
