Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Can you imagine being allowed to write on your desk when you were in school?
My students use dry erase markers every week to write their work on their desks and love it!
I have fantastic students that attend a Title I school.
They are in third grade at a school in Texas. They are a fun loving group of students that wants to explore and learn more about the world. They are kind, sweet, and a great group of kids who hope to use the materials from this project.
My Project
In science class we like to really learn about our unit topics (Solar System, Life Cycle, Earth's forces, etc). My students work in groups to research their topics. Then they write papers and create three dimensional models of the topic. The children use nearly everything from construction paper, pencils, staples, a stapler, post-it notes, and other resources in the classroom.
Dry erase markers, construction paper, pencils, stapler, staples, and post-it notes are all daily supplies used in a third grade classroom.
We have become creative in using other supplies, when these run out. We would appreciate your support in helping us get these much needed materials.
