My Students
To keep accurate and complete records on our program's animals, it is essential that we are able to color code the different forms.
Students in this program are urban students, who come from low socio-economic backgrounds.
Our program gives them a chance to step into a new environment where everyone begins on an equal footing. Animals are indifferent to race, gender, or wealth. Students are able to feel safe, and grow confident in their skills as an animal health professional.
My Project
Understanding and properly completing animal care records is an integral skill in gaining employment in the animal health care industry. By training students properly during their high school years, they have a better chance of success in their college or career choice.
In order to expose students to widely practiced record keeping standards, it is essential that we have the proper resources.
Color coding animal care data sheets are essential for my student's experience in the classroom. This will help to closely mirror that of a animal health care business.
