This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Paper is needed! My students are excited about learning to read and write but need paper to individualize their work and meet their needs.
My first grade students are very diversified.
There are 10 Special Education students and 8 ESL students in the class with general education children. We are located in a NYC Title I school with 94% of the students entitled to free lunch.
Paper is an essential school supply. Students need differentiated work to address their needs. Funding is limited, and parents are not economically able to provide paper.
My Project
To meet their diverse needs, and to make their learning most efficient, I need to make my own materials for classwork and homework; however, the school has limited funding to provide paper for each individual class. With this copy paper the students can practice skills and strategies at home that they learned in school.
Please help supply this essential resource!
To accommodate their needs, and to help them meet the standards, your gift will be invaluable. Their families and I would be most grateful!
