This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to complete their work but they do not always have the required materials to do so. One of the things that they most commonly request is a pencil or paper. A lack of a writing utensil should not be a reason for students to not complete their work.

I keep extra pencils available for students but they run out quickly as students use them so often.

If a student does not have a pencil, I also allow them to take it with them so that they have one to use the rest of the school day.
