My Students

"I want to make something I can hang on my wall.", "I have never done anything like this.", "This is so cool.". These were a few of the words I heard during the first few classes of the year. I want my students to learn without even knowing that they are learning!

My students come to art class ready to be creative, ready for a challenge.

I want to make sure there is nothing stopping my young artists from learning how to make a product, learn the history, and be confident in his/her ability. Some of these students are from homes where there is no extra money to purchase basic art supplies for home use. Some have never even used supplies others may take for granted. They need the tools here at school to be successful. I want to change lives. I want my students to see a world of art that they have never imagined. They are so ready for this!

My Project

The Art Room sees all students every week and it is important we have paper for our assignments. Drawing and painting are some favorite activities. Quality drawing paper is essential in the Art Room.

Watercolor paper and drawing paper is used daily in the art room.

We love to create all kinds of projects with paper. Painting, drawing, oil pastels as well as building with paper is so important to develop basic skills especially for the younger grades.

Because supplies are used by all students in the school it is so important that we maintain supplies so we can always have the best time in the art room.
