This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am simply requesting copy paper to put in my copy machine at my school to be able to print assignments & resources my students and their families. My students come to class everyday and give their best while they are at school. I want to support their learning with the necessary supplies.
My district is struggling financially right now so we are running out of paper very often.
This project will benefit all of our third grade classrooms which helps over a hundred students. Copy paper which is vital for both academic success and the smooth operation of daily classroom activities, particularly in low-income communities. For many students, access to affordable school supplies is limited, making it imperative that schools provide copy paper for printing assignments, essays, and projects, art etc. Additionally, teachers frequently use copy paper to provide handouts, worksheets, intervention resources and important announcements, ensuring that all students, regardless of their economic background, stay informed and engaged in their learning.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
