Paper Chaos

Help me give my students the gift of organization by having a place to organize and store assignments.

My Project

Have you ever seen a middle school student open their book bag and an assortment of papers randomly fall out? I have seen this play out all too often on a daily basis. It would be nice for my students to have folders to organize their paperwork in their book bags. It would be AMAZING if they could have a place to create and store portfolios of their best work to be shared at report card conferences. These portfolios would be stored in file folders in the classroom file cabinet in a place easily accessible for students to update their portfolios.

Giving children the responsibility of organizing their assignments would give them a sense of pride in what they have accomplished.

Our classroom would also feel tidier without papers falling from desks and lockers throughout the day.
