This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have students who come from all kinds of backgrounds. They range anywhere from grade levels behind in their education to achieving far above grade level.
They come from troubled and unsafe neighborhoods.
Whatever their backgrounds, they still find the motivation to come to school every day because they know education is the key to their futures. Whether they choose to go to college or a trade school, I will help them to get there.
I want them to be able to reach those expectations that I have for them and they have set for themselves.
My Project
In our school district, some resources are very limited. Printer paper is one of those items. We are only allotted a certain amount of paper each year. Some year, that amount will suffice, other years, it is not nearly enough.
I am requesting donations for a case of basic white copy/printer paper and printer ink.
With this paper and ink I will be able to keep my students up to date on their growth and progress. My students regularly take progress monitoring assessments. However, these assessment do not do much good when they cannot track their progress. Please help make this a reality.
