This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Due to budget cuts this year, we may not be able to supply our students with the bare minimum they need to get through class. In the past years, we have always been able to supply our students with classroom paper and pencils. It has helped many of our students out because many of them do not have the basic supplies they need for class.

This year we need help supplying those needs to our students.

With these small supplies, our students are able to focus on class and not be embarrassed because they do not have what they need for class. Even though many of our students have been with each other over the years, it's still a new year with new expectations. Our students still come nervous. Help take some of that away with assisting us to get paper and pencils for all our students to start the school year off with.

Paper and pencils may sound like so little, but when you have been able to supply them and now may not, it is big. When students have to ask their neighbor for paper, and possibly not get any, that is big. It is the little things that matter the most.
