My Project

One of the major components to our Life Skills Support program is teaching our students basic cooking and baking techniques. It is extremely important for each student to learn cooking safety as well as how to prepare basic food items.

The goal of our high school program is to help our students to live as independently as possible upon graduation from high school.

This includes being able to make basic food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Unfortunately at this time, although we are extremely grateful for what we have, we do not have all the supplies for a fully stocked kitchen. The cookie scoops will help us measure and have the same size cookies and meatballs. The pans will allow us to learn how to sauté. My students cannot wait to start cooking!
